Request Account Deletion
If you have an account with Ears Up! and wish to delete it, you can request account deletion through the following methods:
In-App Account Deletion
You can delete your account directly from within the Ears Up! mobile application:
- Open the Ears Up! app on your device
- Go to Settings or Account section
- Look for "Delete Account" or "Account Deletion" option
- Follow the prompts to confirm your deletion request
Web-Based Account Deletion Request
Alternatively, you can request account deletion by contacting us directly:
- Send an email to admin@zielkraft.software
- Include "Account Deletion Request" in the subject line
- Provide your registered email address and any other identifying information
- We will process your request within 30 days
What Data Will Be Deleted
When you request account deletion, the following data associated with your account will be permanently deleted:
- Your account profile information (name, email, preferences)
- Your listening history and bookmarks
- Any user-generated content you've created
- Your app usage data and analytics
- Any stored authentication tokens and session data
Data Retention Exceptions
Please note that some data may be retained for legal or operational purposes:
- Transaction records may be kept for financial and tax compliance purposes
- Data required by law to be retained will be kept for the minimum required period
- Anonymized usage data that cannot be linked back to you may be retained for analytics
- Backup systems may retain data for up to 90 days after deletion
Consequences of Account Deletion
Before requesting account deletion, please be aware that:
- This action is irreversible - your account and data cannot be recovered
- You will lose access to any premium features or subscriptions
- Your listening progress and bookmarks will be permanently lost
- You will need to create a new account if you wish to use Ears Up! again
Processing Timeline
Account deletion requests are typically processed as follows:
- In-app deletions: Immediate (account disabled) with full data deletion within 7 days
- Email requests: Processed within 30 days of receiving your request
